Face to Face AIDS Project

The Face -To- Face AIDS Project began in 2003 to document, through interviews, film, and photographs, the AIDS pandemic in South Africa. Currently, their mission is to empower established youth groups in Malawi and Cambodia to improve the quality of life by engaging youth to do public health education and outreach in their tribal communities. www.facetofaceaids.org

The Isora Foundation has funded a two-year project with Face -To- Face in rural Malawi to empower existing youth groups, working with tribal elders to improve the conditions of village members with HIV/AIDS, TB, malaria and malnutrition. The project will include the making of a Youth Group PhotoMosaic which will be presented to youth in the U.S to create a global awareness of community health challenges young people face in West Africa.
