Application & Reporting Process

New applicants whose work strongly aligns with the Isora Foundation's approach and grantmaking priorities are encouraged to submit a Letter of Inquiry by February 1. The Letter of Inquiry form can be accessed here. If you need assistance with this application form, email contact@isorafoundation.org or call 612-328-9924.

Upon review of the Letters of Inquiry, select organizations will be invited to submit a full proposal by April 1. The application review process will include a site visit or phone conference with a board member.

Returning applicants are required to submit a progress report by February 1. We will send current grantees a link to the report form. Questions about the reporting process can be directed to contact@isorafoundation.org or 612-328-9924. Based on the review of the progress report, organizations may be invited to submit a renewal application by April 1. The application review process may include a site visit or phone conference with a board member.

Grant awards will be made on or before June 30.

Please be aware that the Isora Foundation will not fund:
  • Individuals, scholarships, endowments or political fundraising activities
  • Projects that lack a sufficient evaluation component
  • Projects that are not administered through a 501(c)3 organization
  • Past grantees that have not submitted a required progress report
